Rhode Island’s first Electric Vehicle Charging Station and one of the first in New England.
Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses partnered with Arpin Renewable Energy and installed Rhode Island’s first Electric Vehicle Charging Station at its Rt. 2, West Warwick location in August of 2010 and that is before there were any registered electric vehicles in Rhode Island.
Since its installation as Rhode Island’s first Electric Vehicle Charging Station, Cardi’s has been offering FREE charging services to everyone 7 days a week.
SOME OF OUR RECENT EFFORTS IN THE RT. 2, W. WARWICK, S. ATTLEBORO AND SWANSEA LOCATIONS
Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses showroom lighting has been changed to 90% LED reducing the electrical load 33%-40% in our Rt. 2, W. Warwick Cardi’s and Rhode Island Design Center, Swansea, Hyannis, Wareham and S. Kingstown locations.
Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses parking lots all have run off filtered through sedimentation basins and then subsequently filtered a second time before recharging the ground water.
Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses utilizes environmental controls for HVAC and lighting to ensure usage only when needed in the Rt. 2, W. Warwick, S. Attleboro, Wareham and Swansea locations including the Distribution Center.
Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses recycles 100% of cardboard, plastic and wood pallets.
Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses roof runoff is 100% recharged and flow controlled with detention basins.
Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses lawn irrigation system uses 100% well water.
